Sie rehabilitierten Pornographie und Bordellerotik, propagierten abgründige Leidenschaften, Geschlechterkämpfe und ein pessimistisches Bild von Sexualität, das heute Mainstream ist. Macht, Ohmacht und Schmerz gehören demnach zur Lust wie Krieg zum Frieden oder der Herr zum Knecht. Weder Liberale noch Progressive, weder Gender-Feministinnen noch Queerbewegte zweifeln daran, während traditioneller Sexualkonservatismus ungehindert wiederkehrt.
