Mit Fragen wie diesen setzt sich diese Hausarbeit auseinander. Das Augenmerk wird auf das Themengebiet der Motivation, speziell der Arbeitsmotivation, gelegt.
Dabei wird die theoretische Seite von mir erläuternd präsentiert und der Praxisbezug wird anhand eines Beispiels gefolgt von Handlungsempfehlungen hergestellt.

Aus diesem Zitat wird deutlich, was eine gute Führungskraft im Bezug auf Mitarbeitermotivation zu leisten hat. Sie muss die Begierde oder den Wunsch bei dem Mitarbeiter hervorrufen, eigenständig und selbstständig bestimmten, nämlich die vom Vorgesetzten gewünschten, Verhaltensweisen an den Tag zu legen.

Hierzu bedient sich die Führungskraft häufig des Mittels der Kommunikation. Sie ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil Motivation auszulösen.
Auf Kommunikationstheorien wird an dieser Stelle aber nicht weiter eingegangen, erwähnt sei hier nur das 4- Schnäbel, 4- Ohren Modell von Schulz von Thun.

Ein weiterer wichtiger Aspekt ist die Arbeitszufriedenheit, die als Indikator oder Verstärker für Motivation dienen kann.

Hier sei der IAQ - Report aus März 2011 erwähnt vom Institut Arbeit und Qualifikation der Fakultät für Gesellschaftswissenschaften der Universität Duisburg - Essen, der als Forschungsergebnis beinhaltet, die "Arbeitszufriedenheit in Deutschland sinkt langfristig".
(vgl. Elinghagen et al. 2011).

Aus diesem Report geht weiter hervor, dass die Senkung der Arbeitszufriedenheit in Deutschland vor allem die Arbeitnehmer ab 50 Jahre und älter betrifft.
Auch im internationalen Vergleich hinkt Deutschland hinterher.
Die Gründe hierfür sind mannigfaltig, berichtet der IAQ - Report, Unsicherheit des Arbeitsplatzes, keine bzw. schwierige Vereinbarung zwischen Familie und Beruf, Intensivierung der Arbeit in den Berufen und geringerer Lohnzuwächse.

Dies alles beeinflusst die Arbeitsmotivation und wirkt sich letztendlich auch auf die Rentabilität des Unternehmens aus.

Daher sind pragmatische und praktische Motivationsansätze gefragter denn je.
