Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2000 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Fachkommunikation, Sprache, Note: 1,3, Universität Leipzig (Komm.- und Medienwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Seminar: Kommunikationstraining TV I, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Sommersemester 2000 trafen sich einige Studenten und Studentinnen der Universität Leipzig, um am Kommunikationstraining mit Herrn Vogt teilzunehmen. Ein Teil des Seminars bestand unter anderem darin, in Rollenspielen vor der Kamera zu agieren und über ein bestimmtes Thema zu diskutieren. Dass verschiedene Gruppen von Menschen auf unterschiedliche Weise kommunizieren, war allen Seminarteilnehmern bewusst. Das bewiesen sie durch die ihre Rollenspiele vor der Kamera. Ein Vorstandsmitglied sprach beispielsweise anders als ein Bauarbeiter oder die Verkäuferin im Spätverkauf. Während des Seminars verwies der Trainer häufig auf typische weibliche oder männliche Kommunikationsstile, die den Agierenden im Seminar jedoch nicht, oder nur zum Teil, bewusst waren.
Diese Arbeit wird sich deswegen mit dem Thema der geschlechtsspezifischen Kommunikation auseinandersetzen und grundlegende Unterschiede aufführen. Des weiteren soll anhand von Beispielen versucht werden, diese Differenzen darzustellen und - soweit möglich - Lösungsmöglichkeiten vorzuschlagen, um auftretende Kommunikationsprobleme verhindern zu können.
Im Verständigungsprozess spielt selbstverständlich nicht nur die Sprache, sondern auch nonverbale Kommunikation eine Rolle. Deswegen wird sich ein Abschnitt der Arbeit mit dem Thema Körpersprache auseinandersetzen, die ebenfalls geschlechtsspezifisch variiert.

Verschiedene Forscher haben sich bereits mit geschlechtsspezifischer Kommunikation befasst. Der Aufsatz ,,Weiblicher Stil-Männlicher Stil" von Senta Trömmel-Plötz, das Buch ,,Du kannst mich einfach nicht verstehen. Warum Männer und Frauen aneinander vorbeireden." von Deborah Tannen, das Buch ,,Alles über Körpersprache" von Samy Molcho bzw. ,,Frauensprache-Männersprache" von Katrin Oppermann und Erika Weber dienen daher als grundlegende Literatur für die folgende Ausarbeitung. Da diese Autoren unterschiedliche Schwerpunkte in ihrer Argumentation gesetzt haben, wird auch eine kritische Betrachtung dieser erfolgen.
